About Rising Tides Basketball
About:
This youth basketball program brings together high school student-athletes from Bellarmine College Preparatory, St. Francis and Archbishop Mitty to coach and mentor younger kids in the community. Through weekly skill-building sessions, student volunteers teach fundamentals, encourage teamwork, and serve as role models—helping kids grow in confidence both on and off the court. It’s more than just basketball—it’s about connection, mentorship, and inspiring the next generation through the power of sports.
Our Goal:
Our goal is to create a positive, encouraging space where younger kids can build real relationships with high school mentors who genuinely care. Through teamwork, effort, and fun, we aim to inspire kids to be active, confident, and connected—instead of spending their time alone on screens or stuck on phones. By showing them what they’re capable of on the court, we hope to ignite a lifelong love for sports, healthy habits, and self-belief.
